So I’m not a newbie, I sell (but mostly buy).

Bought a pair of Nike AirForce 1s for DS at the weekend. Price not bad, in line with others. Realised afterwards that the seller has zero feedback, but everyone has to start somewhere I guess?

Seller has uploaded a 48hour Royal Mail tracking label to me. I went to just look at their other items and they are blocked. I seem to remember that after looking at many many many pairs of identical trainers on Vinted that this seller had a few pairs for sale (not loads but all different).

Scam?

Might have sent you something that isn't the shoes. Or could be an accident. Don't know I'm until your parcel arrives I'm afraid.

It’s so easy for these sellers to defraud you on Vinted. So be prepared.

Thanks both. I always pick up and inspect parcels well within the date to check that all is ok before confirming. Do the scam sellers rely on the buyers not doing this?

Ahh just clicked on the shoes listing within our messaging and it says ‘item has been removed’ so I reckon Vinted will release the money back to me.
