Help me update my sofas!!

I would really love to get a new, light-coloured fabric sofa but just can’t afford it right now.
As you can see the sofa is dark brown leather, I’ve really fallen out of love with it!
The decor in my living room is very light.
The throw looks awful too!

How can I improve the look of it without spending too much?
Cushions would be good but we have a dog who loves destroying cushions......

PS I have 2 of the same sofa, hence the title of the thread.
They are actually very comfortable but I really can’t stand the look of them anymore.

You can buy sofa covers! I bought 2 when we got DDog so I could have one on and one in the wash. I got mine from Sofa Guards. About £50 I think?

Yy sofa covers. Get 3 so you can wash them without rushing/having to have one sofa ‘naked’

I was going to suggest sofa covers too. Dunelm sell them in a variety of colours and the fit of them looks really good.
