Tell me about your dressing table...

I'm re-decorating my bedroom and am thinking I'd like a dressing table. If you have one, do you love it? I just want my own area, un-interfered with by everyone else in the house...just for my things!

Yeah I love mine too. I've got an IKEA Malm one.
Not masses of storage in it but it looks sleek and lovely when all my shit isn't piled on top of it. 😄

Yes I love mine and wouldn't be without it. I've also got the ikea malm one, I like the glass top because it's easy to keep clean and although the drawer isn't very deep you can get a fair bit in it.

Love mine, has 6 draws all with compartments inside for all my stuff, a tri fold mirror with a vintage table lamp. Also have a very old basket which I keep perfumes in (all in the box).

I have a few sentimental trinkets, and my wedding jewellery hangs from one side of a mirror, just nice to see every day. Other than that its clear everything in draws, oh and have 2 large face cloths i lay out when putting make up on so I dont stain anything.

Its a tad battered about some areas, but I could not cope without one and still have the matching stool which I have upholstered a couple of times !

I love my dressing table, I wanted one for years and when we moved five years ago I finally had space for you.

I always imagined I would use it daily, sitting there and doing my hair and makeup. In reality I just like to look at it. I still put my makeup on while sitting on my bed. I have it arranged nicely and it gets a frequent dusting but I never get the urge to actually use it.

I have this one because I don't have a huge amount of space and I love it.

Right, thank you. Then it's a definite, I'm getting one!
