I was on my early morning run. A man was standing on the pavement, I assumed waiting for a lift to work from how he was dressed.
As I got closer, I saw him lift his phone into the position you hold it if you're filming, and hold it still in my direction.
I glared at him as I got closer, and he lowered the phone a little. I could sense the phone going back higher and slowly panning me as I ran past him. I didn't give him the satisfaction of turning to see if it was pointed in my direction.
If there had been an opportunity to cross the road I would have done. I didn't challenge him, as I couldn't be 100% sure that he'd filmed me. I'm 99% sure he did.
I know there's nothing I could have done in this situation. It irks me that these sorts of things can happen anytime, any place.
