I just got my period today after stopping the provera pills and this clot came out. I’ve used these pills before but never had these clots before. I’m worried. Is this just a normal thing? Sorry abt the image TMI

I started getting these when I had fibroids. Periods started getting heavier and longer and more painful around this time too.

@GandalfsSearchHistory
thanks for responding. Someone also told me that it could be my uterus lining tissue that shed in one piece.
hope all is ok

Like the poster above, I used to get those when I had big fibroids. I had many removed. I also had fibromas in the womb, and it was a bicornuate uterus. I had neurofibromatosis which was diagnosed later. I was bleeding so badly that I ended up having an endometrial resection, which sorted the problem out quite a lot. It was a relief to be less anaemic, have less bleeding and I was getting contractions quite a bit with body trying to expel everything. I suggest a gynae check up for you?

Looks like a decidual cast. Does it have the texture of chicken skin? Perfectly harmless although can be disconcerting!

@GreenishFinger

thanks for you reply it deff made me feel a lot better now knowing it’s harmless ❤️
