Wall color to go with brown carpet?

For hallway.
Brown stair carpet and landing
Medium oak wood floor hall.

Unfortunately there isna dado rail which of we remove will remove the plaster. And we don't want the expense.
Just want to freshen the paint on walls and gloss.

Its currently a mocha on bottom. And cream on top.
I hate it. I Want it to feel warm. But it needs to feel light and airy.
Don't want greys have that in lounge.

No furniture other than a console table but that needs replacing as its had its day.

A light grey blue ?

I was going to suggest caramel or vanilla, but see you already have similar. Why do you feel that isn't warm? I love it ❤️

Green would work. Could go anything from apple to sage to forest to teal.

Perhaps darker green under the dado and a paler green above. Or pale green patterned wallpaper. Have some plants and some wood for texture. Brass lamp, tan leather etc would warm it up.

Or something like this in a more common sized hallway. The inspo pics are always in enoooormous houses. I’m always searching for “small dark hallway” or “small new build bathroom”!

A primrose lemon colour would keep it light and airy.

I used to have a sage green on my walls with brown carpet. I loved it.
