Podcast like the one in Only Murders in the Building

For those who haven't seen it, at the beginning of the show they are all obsessed with a podcast on an unsolved or ongoing murder investigation or it could have been a crime made up just for entertainment. I think there were weekly updates and you could sleuth along to it. I think the concept was made up for the show, my daughter thinks you can actually tune into a podcast like that - does anyone know?

It's based on a real type of podcast - the first one was Serial (season 1) by Sarah Koenig (that's who Tina Fey's character appears loosely based on)

That one was a historic crime being reinvestigated. Now there are more current ones (eg one on Lucy Letby) but they run the risk of breaking all sorts of laws, especially during the trial

Serial by Sarah Koenig. Tina feys character does a really good characterisation of her. There’s 2 seasons of Serial, my favourite being about the adnan syed case. So interesting.
