What would you do with a day at home with your partner?

In a complete first, my DS1 and DS2 are taking DS3 and DS4 out for the day tomorrow so DH and I will be home alone all day. I can't go out anywhere as I tested positive for Covid last week. So what would you and your partner do with a day at home alone?

I would pick a roster of films to watch and make themed food and drink to go with them. If you like Lord of the Rings you could watch those and do breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon…

A lovely long lie in with coffee and the papers. Full English. Long hot bubble bath. Into clean PJs then blitz a box set on the sofa with wine, crisps and nibbles.

On the other side ds stayed at my parents last night and we spent all morning and a good chunk of the early afternoon (until 3pm) cleaning 🤣

I'd much sooner a lazy day of TV food and sex though!!!

Before we moved sex, food, film, wine and sleep. Since we’ve moved any number of the DIY jobs which require both of us to complete.

Eat, shower, sex then clean the house as it's hard to stay on top of it all when the children are here! Then have some more sex.

i Mean in your situation I’d still go out but not go to crowded places - unless you’re actually unwell.

I suppose sex is an obvious one but we can't do that for the whole day! They're going to a theme park so they'll be out for a very long time. Good call @PinkRoses1245 we could go out for a walk somewhere - DH would like that. I'm not too ill anymore, just waiting for my five days since testing positive to be up. I don't really want to clean @Ohyesreally as I seem to spend enough of my life doing that!

To be honest, all the suggestions above don't excited me (except sex) so I'd go for a long walk and stay in a beer garden all afternoon - it's going yo be a gorgeous day! ☀️
