Does Amazon prime always deliver when it says?

One of my kids needs something for new term on Monday. I have a feeling that next day delivery isn't so reliable any more, am I right?

I always get my orders on the day it says I will or even sometimes the day before.

I depends where you live. When I was in central London, it was 99% next day. I'm 2hrs away now- and it depends when I order something. It does give you an estimated date when you ordered it though- but note- it might say delivery on the 4th- but might not arrive till 9pm that night!

Quite often though, I've ordered a few things with various delivery dates- and they have all arrived earlier than they said.

I'd say 99% of orders arrive on time, but occasionally there will be something that causes an issue and delays things (weather, traffic, van breakdown, staff sickness) etc.

This is good to hear, it's not usually critical, but I'll have a stressed out child if this doesn't arrive.

Is it meant to arrive today? I think they have up until 10pm so you still have time - if not it could still come tomorrow.

Fewer things come next day than they used too. However things ime always come when they say they will. So if it says it will come tomorrow it will (but as a pp said up to 9pm tomorrow).

I have found that sometimes if I'm ordering late (eg after 9pm) it says next day delivery and puts the following day's date but actually after I've placed the order it changes to the day after. That's happened to me twice. Other orders placed earlier in the day have been reliable.

To save the stress of it not arriving in time I'd go out and buy it.

I've always had really positive amazon service. I live in a small village quite far out from anything (to the point we only get post 1-2 times a week half the time!) And yet I don't think I've ever had an amazon delivery not arrive. Even when I've ordered right up to the last minute before next day delivery. I've also found that, probably due to location, they'll leave absolutely any parcels on my doorstep so as not to have to come back. Which helps.

I order an obscene amount from Amazon (medical issues make shopping difficult). Almost all my orders arrive on time or early. Sometimes within an hour of ordering even.

Very rarely is an order delayed. It happens more often with the very tiny envelopes, but again, it’s very rare.

Can't get to the shops atm unfortunately. Sounds like will be ok though
