Sprouts. I don’t bother with cabbage, it’s all about the sprouts for me.

I quite like using sprouts, bacon and a little maple syrup. Then the potatoes.

Agree with PP defo prefer sprouts.

Traditionally bubble and squeak was made on Monday from leftovers from Sunday roast, so I'd add carrots as well and sage and onion stuffing.

Sometimes I make a big bowl of it and keep in the fridge so each evening I have it with something different, so fried egg one night, chicken another night, sometimes with gravy sometimes not.

It's a great way to eat veg IMO.

Omg I adore bubble and squeak! I’ve never had a recipe just used what I’ve had left over from a roast dinner - roasties, carrots, sprouts, cabbage, parsnips! Yum. The only veg I don’t like I is broccoli.

I love a b&s with cold meat & pickled onions 🤤

I might cook up some veg and have it tomorrow ❤️

Leftover roast potatoes & sprouts. Sometimes throw in other bits of leftover veg - parsnips, cauliflower, carrots, peas etc. Veg that’s been roasted is particularly delicious.

I fry diced onions first until browned, then add the leftovers finely chopped and mash down a bit more with a potato masher. Fry until underneath browns, then turn over/mix around a bit to get more browned, crispy bits.

Prefer to have leftover ham or freshly cooked crispy bacon on the side, rather than added.

Food of the Gods!
