Anyone else realized they were gay later in life?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, not sure where it belongs. I have also NCed for privacy, but I am a regular.

It appears that at the ripe age of 34, I have just found out that I am bisexual after dating a couple of women from OLD. While I had been having a niggling feeling in the back of my mind for years, I never explored dating women until recently and I thought I was straight. It has been quite the revelation!

This discovery about myself is making me rethink a lot of things, including past experiences with men and the future I thought I wanted from a relationship POV.

Anyone else who came to queerness later in life? How was it for you? Did this realization change the trajectory of your life?

Thanks a lot Smile

Yes. I knew as a teenager I liked both girls and boys but I preferred boys so assumed my crushes on women were a phase. I slept with a few women in my 20s and enjoyed it but never wanted to settle with a woman. I thought I was straight and experimenting.
I only had relationships with men and am now married to a man and live a very heterosexual lifestyle. But I realise now that sexually I am more attracted to women. I am confused tbh. I fancy my husband but I never check out men in real life, however I do look at women in a lustful way and I fantasise about women. I still fancy male celebs, but not men in real life. I suppose I am bisexual but I think I fluctuate between the ratio of male to female attraction.

This 100% describes me too.
