Evans Clothing

I know most clothes in Evans are poor quality and overpriced but there is one pair of black trousers which fits me perfectly.

I went to buy them about 10 days ago, the site is up but you can't buy anything and it says Please be patient while we upgrade our site.

Does anyone know what has happened to them? Have they gone bust? If so I wouldn't think their website would still be up advertising all clothes instead of just closing it down.

I like Evans clothing. Find it cheaper and better quality than Yours clothing.
Yes the site is having an upgrade.
This happens now and again..l noticed and have ordered after it's done this before.
It hasn't gone bust.. keep trying every day.

I'll check in again in a few days.

I like Evans for trousers and jeans but prefer Yours clothing for everything else, in fact I had a big parcel of underwear, a nighty and t-shirts arrive from Yours earlier today!

Found out today that Yours Clothing has acquired Evans which has really wound me up. The same Yours Clothing that started charging £1 per item you return and where quality has plummeted. Only realised once I saw the Evans return policy is saying the same thing now.

It's really hard finding plus size clothing, if anyone has any suggestions it'd be welcomed!

I'm not a fan of Evans or Yours. Have you tried Curvissa? I get quite a lot of stuff from them these days, service is pretty good, free returns etc.

Seasalt have lovely stuff. It can be expensive but worth it, as the clothes are well-made using natural fibres.

Evans is back up and they seem to have massively raised their prices, I've seen t-shirts and tunics from £30-£40 and their quality is definitely not good enough for that.

I'll go and have a look at curvisa and seasalt.

ARK who now own it destroyed Yours clothing too; sorry to be so ragey but finding decent plus size stuff when over 30 was already a nightmare. I noticed the massive increase on Evans also, such a shame.

I’m going to try some of the other suggestions on this thread. The only thing that puts me off is that some of the sites use slim models and have no photo of a plus size woman wearing the clothes. I don’t know about anyone else but it makes it hard for me to visualise what it’ll look like on the curvier woman which often puts me off.
