What’s currently got you moaning? Mine is school uniforms. We went school shopping today. Yes I know it’s late but we managed to get most stuff. Apart from….polo shirts for my dc school. They are annoying in the fact it’s a green shirt with a blue jumper. All of the supermarkets are either out of stock or not in the right size.

I’ve had to buy a size bigger for ds and hope it doesn’t drown him (I’ve bought them online to be delivered tomorrow)

I am fed up worrying about money when I've worked my whole life for 37+ years. Currently got 2 ds going off to Uni at the same time and the costs are phenomenal, not sure how parents are supposed to find this kind of money. Just fed up of not being able to afford nice things really and too knackered/ unwell to take on a second job. DC's have both tried so hard to find jobs over the summer to no avail. It just feels like things just get harder and harder.

Im sorry @Babyroobs Life is really hard and expensive at the moment. We struggle for money on a daily basis too. Dreading things like university

You have my sympathy, school uniforms are pure drudgery. Buying them, washing them, ironing them, making ND kids with sensory issues wear them...I'm so glad we're done with all that shite now.

My peeve today is my perioral dermatitis that just WON'T fuck off despite expensive antibiotics and cream...it burns, it itches and I look like a diseased junkie. I've been in a foul mood since it broke out over a month ago, and now I'm having one of those perimenopausal shark weeks where it seems to make up for three months of no periods in the space of two days Angry

I want to moan about my mouth too. I have ulcers on my tongue that itch like mad but when scratch them they are sore as hell. I also have an ulcer inside my cheek that I keep catching when I open and close my mouth. It hurts and nothing helps. Just gotta be patient and wait for them to fuck off

Peri-menopause has been buggering up my sleep this week.

DS is 10 in November but has apparently already become a teenager. Today he hated me because I insisted on buying school shoes that fit rather than the ones he wanted.

Neighbours. Their kids are feral and have been out on the street every night until dark for the past 6 weeks screeching, charging around and had their feral parents out too. Oh and then another neighbour decided to use our drive to burn the rubbish form his extension earlier so that was just great.

Had a rotten head cold all week. Sore head, sinuses etc Struggled on all week cause I knew my friend needed time off to help her ill partner and if I called in sick she wouldn't have got away. Just tired of always feeling like I'm split into a hundred pieces/101 jobs that need done at the weekend aswell as helping my mum and doing her shopping. I just want to sit and breathe 😪

My two year old won't sleep. I'm so tired. The house is chaos as we're having building work done, it turns out they are going to have to do some extra stuff to make it building regs compliant which is going to cost £££s more we don't have, because who just has a couple of grand sitting around? Despite increasing my work hours and taking on stuff which has meant the last couple of days I've had to take stuff home and work till midnight I'm barely any better off after extra childcare costs.

I do feel a bit better for getting all that out though! Sorry to everyone else going through difficult times Flowers

DH left for work at 7 this morning and won't be back until gone midnight and will do the same tomorrow, leaving me alone to look after a toddler and a colicky newborn that won't sleep.

I'm so disappointed. Lined up an interview for next week after being a bit messed about by the company HR . Someone called, apologised and set up the interview oh and just to check "what are your salary expectations". You guessed it they'd fucked that up too.... the first HR guy said oh yes why don't we put you in at more... turns out the salary range was over 5k under. FFS. X2 interviews and lengthy expensive call on holiday for nowt..

I'm so unhappy at work I was kind of pinning hope on it. I know I always say what's meant for me won't pass me by but I just want toe crawl under my duvet and cry. It's really pute in a spiral...

I have two teenage boys who have become increasingly entitled and troll-like over the summer holidays. We're having a family meeting in the morning to try and talk through the things that are making us massively moany parents.

Oh, and I went back to work this week after the holidays (teacher) with a fuck off massive cold sore.

I’m just tired of feeling rubbish. I’m perimenopausal, underactive thyroid, and I’m tired of feeling anxious, tired, bloated. I’m tired of constantly dieting and not losing even a gram of weight, I’m tired of exercising and feeling less fit. It’s like the creeping body rot, just a new thing aches or twinges each day and it’s so exhausting. I’m on HRT now (day 6) so I have a whole additional wave of symptoms like bloating, headaches, more tiredness…. I am clinging to the hope that in a few months I will have some relief. I am really trying to just focus on self care and health but it’s hard. And there’s not really anything wrong with me, certainly not compared to others.

I'm sick of buying goodies just got my dp to eat everything. He's a big man and eat a lot.
Last weekend I bought a big pile of junk food so we could have a pig out weekend. He woke up in the middle of the night and ate everything and I mean everything. He's so selfish!

Oh yes definitely school uniform. Can't find school trousers for 13 year old dd. Not allowed skinny or slim fit. Won't be a choice if I can't find others. I don't understand why there's so little around.

Today.. being spoken to like a thick twat because the supermarket scan thingy wouldn't load our shop onto the self serve computer.

My moan is Dieting! More than aware I've potentially fallen into an eating disorder but I can not stop being so bloody conscious of calories and have forgotten how to treat myself! Also to add to the moan, I'm scraping at 1lb loss every fortnight if I'm lucky so all this effort and no real success! Argh!

My moan is man flu. I’m rarely ill but this week I took to my bed just for a morning to sleep off some 24hr bug. It didn’t affect anyone as the two children were at nursery, DH at work. DH is not letting me forget it. He now has some vague flu thing apparently (can’t be that bad as he was in the gym y’day) making him too ill to drive, do kids bedtimes, get up with them in the morning etc… I mean, he seems absolutely fine other than when there’s a responsibility coming his way. When I’ve suggested he crack on a bit he brings up my 2hrs in bed which had no impact on anyone!

Got bloody overcharged by nearly £20 in M&S seemingly I was paying for shopping in front then said we will refund your card told em to pay me back in cash as not willing to wait 4/5 days for a refund!! I was made to feel I was being unreasonable grrrr
