Perfect mug!

You know… not too big, not too small, keeps your tea / coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time… what’s your perfect mug?

Treating myself by replacing my oversized set of mugs that cool down ridiculously quickly.

We also have miscellaneous gifted mugs that are very cute but diminutive and do not satisfy my need for a decent cuppa!

I really like the David Mellor British Standard mugs, and find them to be the perfect size.

Disney mugs. Seriously.
Not the oddly shaped character mugs but the more normal shaped ones. They come either in thinner walled versions or thicker walled ones.

Absolutely loving the aesthetic of those colour mugs. 😍

Will check out Disney too, thank you, hadn’t thought of that as I associate with the super chunky ones. 😎

Le Creuset stoneware mugs

my perfect mug is a Christmas kitten one from the pound shop that a friend bought me seriously we have the Denby shaped ones and they are perfect mugs not too big and being stoneware they keep the drinks nice and hot for quite a while

These are my favourites but they're not made any more! I used to get one every time I visited a Whittards!

I like the Emma Bridgewater ones, especially my oversize one that says ‘a large dose of good magic’.

This is my favourite mug that I own. I didn't buy it off eBay but I'm on my second I love it that much (first one lost it's life accidentally 😢). It's big but not too big. I am very particular about a nice mug for my tea and finding my ideal shape is getting more difficult. I love this shape...the original Crush mug by Cath Kidston and also done by Julie Dodsworth for Churchill...sadly neither are available any more unless you pay over the odds for second hand ones on Ebay

I don't like straight sides on a cup for my tea...it feels all wrong

It has to be bone china cup for tea! Keeps the flavour in and keeps it hot. Not a dainty little tea cup as that is never enough, but a good size bone china one. Any other cup or mug makes it taste different and not as nice.
