Everyone ready for school?

I've been getting my head around the logistics and trying to prepare for packed lunches and snacks as well as meal plan/prep. Git uniform sorted- just need a winter coat for ds but as it's now summer weather next week there's no rush!

Everyone else ready? What else do you need to do?

Have uniform ready, just not ready for them to go back! Seems like the longest but shortest summer hol ever.
Still need to sort DS7 diabetes school box.

I'm sort of ready but still need to label all the new uniform. They're not back until Tuesday & Wednesday so I'll probably do it at the weekend.

We went back on Tuesday here so done and dusted and back in the swing of it already.

We still don't have any school shoes. It could well be a disaster 😬

nope but I don't get stressed about it. Will get school shoes sorted & can buy uniform over the next few weeks.

Nope. Need to sign my son up for breakfast and after school clubs but the website the school uses doesn't recognise any of the email and phone number combinations I've tried. So I need to try and speak to the school office tomorrow or Monday to get it organised. Seriously stressing me out now.

One DC actually has no uniform and she starts on Monday. I paid extra to have it delivered by today but it is still 'pending' on the website... so not very ready no!

Still have to find the will to live/do it.
Other than that, all set.

Well, incredibly tangled hair is 3/4 clear

DD needs skirts and PE shoes. DS needs a tracksuit. Hope to sort those tomorrow as we're ultra busy over the weekend.

DD 7 has come down with the mother of all colds, it’s snot central here and the poor love is burning up something rotten. She’s so excited to start Yr3 so we’re crossing everything that it’s passes quickly. She’s so proud of her new uniform and school shoes she can’t wait for Monday.

I'm sorted. I dyed my hair, checked my bike tyres, have broken in my new shoes and re-set my alarm for 5.55am. Inset for me tomorrow.

Everything is purchased, it now just needs naming/washing/assembling. That's today's job as soon as I've had another six cups of tea to motivate me. There's loads of old school uniform somewhere from DD that now needs digging out for DS, that'll be fun.

Now is a good time to buy winter coats:

I still need to get PE kit and label everything. Dd not back till Wednesday though so we’re making the most of the last weekend! Will do it all in a panic Tuesday evening probably.

I went in yesterday and set up most of the classroom but can't go in today. I do have an INSET day Monday and Tuesday so will have more prep time.

I am in a new school and teaching a new year so even after 25 years teaching I am feeling a bit panicked!! Will spend today reading policies and planning.
