Sims 4 - what expansion pack to get?

Just playing base game on PS4 atm, and the expansions are like 35 quid so clearly not possible to buy all of them.

Which do you have? Which is the best and the worst?

I saw they also do cheap "stuff" packs so happy to take any recs on them.

Wait for the sales, they do them half price. However, seasons and cottage living are pretty good.

lilsimsie on YouTube has some videos on the different packs.

I’ve not played the sims for ages but my kids love the pets expansion back.

Get to work is deffo the best, followed by get together id say

Cottage Living and the New Ranch one are my favourites

They go half price so wait until then, but my favourites are city, get famous, cottage Living, seasons...you know what I quite like them all! Eco living is probably the one I like least.

Spa and dine out are great packs that aren't full expansions.

Thanks. Didn't realise the sales were that good, so I'll get two if they do end up at half price.

Dream Home Decorator and the Get to Work ones are good because you can follow your Sim in their career.

thdskdrggs · 02/09/2023 21:38

Yeah they do it quite regularly too. Maybe have a google, they def will be for Black Friday and Boxing Day, but I'm sure they will be before them too.

I always buy mine off of cdkeys, never had any issues and they’re around £13-£14 usually :)

id recommend the horse ranch & cottage living if you like playing with animals.

if you enjoy family play style, I’d get high school years, growing together and parenthood :)

seasons is a really good all round one :)
