Feeing low about appearance

Hi, I just thought I would ask under the chat topic about how you make yourself feel better when you’re feeling a bit low about your appearance? Usually I’m completely fine with how I look but tonight I saw a photo of myself and started to pick at all the things I didn’t like.
I need to lose around 3 stone, I’ve done it before but I am really lacking motivation. I am In my late 20’s but I look so tired and worn out. I can contribute this to having 2 kids, one a toddler that clings to me so I don’t get much alone time. Just a quick side note I was talking to my mum and mentioned how my DD who is 17 months old eats a lot and isn’t fussy at all and then she said “she’s like you then” which I knew she meant I’m eating too much and I’m fat.
But other than losing weight how do you make yourself feel better? I’m thinking more sleep and a facial might make a difference? I’ve never had one before.
I don’t want to feel rubbish about myself but need some tips.

If it's any consolation you'll probably look at photos of yourself in about ten years and wonder why you didn't see how lovely you are!
Maybe focus on yourself a little bit, it's hard with small children. I think what has helped me is reminding myself that my children will copy what I do and so it's important that I show them a good path.

I file my finger/toe nails and paint them, then moisturise. If my feet are looking good, I feel good.

Could you escape for a spa day?

That sounds perfect, get away for a day, catch your breath and press pause on the world! With time to clear your head a bit the solutions will be there and you’ll know what to do next.
