Do you wake yourself up early if you don't need to

I go to bed around 10 (sometimes earlier) and my dc wake me up between 6-7am. I get enough sleep but every morning I wake up so tired and throughout the day I just feel exhausted and yawning constantly. I do have a toddler and a baby but what can I do to get more energy? Could I be having too much sleep? Is it worth me setting an alarm to wake up early before the kids do?

It's bizarre, when mine were little they slept well, got up reasonably good times 7/8am and I got good sleep but like you was permanently exhausted.
Now they're teens, I get up, probably earlier than I did back then, and probably go to bed later too most nights and feel way better..
Could be that they are less physically demanding during the day as teens but the emotional demands are way more immense.
You could try getting up earlier. Allow yourself some me time before the carnage. But it also might be worth just getting your iron/thyroid levels checked..just in case.
Sorry I can't help more!

If you've recently had a baby and you're feeling overly tired after getting enough sleep then I would suggest getting your iron levels checked as low iron will make you feel awful but can be fixed

Get some vit B complex for energy.

I think having a toddler and a baby is tiring and if you're sleeping you need the sleep.

I don't set an alarm on the days I don't need to be up, but I pretty much wake up the same time anyway.

I don’t know but I’m like you - in bed 10/10.30 and up with kids 6/6.30. Was never this exhausted when I was child free and doing 11pm bed and 7am wake. I did used to lie in on the weekend until about 9 but I’m not sure that explains it. I think it’s just being ‘always on’…
