I'm probably outing myself as really thick here but what will be the end result if prices keep increasing and everything becomes unaffordable?

It is a bit, but where does it end? Will the UK go broke and we end up a 3rd world nation or will we recover or will we descend into anarchy and war or will the planet self combust first so it's all a moot point?
