Has anyone applied for the latest ULEZ scrappage scheme, after 21 August, and had a response?

I applied for the 2k scrappage on the 21st but haven't heard anything since.
I'm sure it said they'd reply in 10 days.
Has anyone else had a reply?

I applied with the previous extension (beginning of August) and got a reply the next day, but they are probably overwhelmed now its been opened to all. I think so long as you have all the documents it will come through.

I submitted the COD evidence on Tuesday -

PS you only get a month to scrap the car; we had to work quite quickly to get this done in time (partly due to holidays in August)

Thanks.
I phoned them up and discovered that I'd been approved yesterday but the email was in my spam folder!
It gives one month to return the scrappage certificate but she did say that I could ask for it to be extended. Some have been given extensions.
I phoned a few of the scrappage places, most are paying nothing for the cars :(

I have actually just received approval for the £2k just now (only submitted Wednesday pm) so they are not that slow. Not got the actual cheque yet though...

I did get £250 for the car - an old toyota diesel. Was offered up to £280-£300 but that involved taking it to an ATF whilst I wanted someone to come and collect as I had already SORN it off road so I could just transfer my insurance when I got a new car in August and not have to pay 2 insurance policies.

So keep trying because it does have a scrap value and some scrappers are stil offering something. Every bit helps as I am still reeling from the shock prices of my new car.

I'm in a similar position, where did you find the telephone number. I've looked on line and can't find anything

I've tried to find an authorised scrap dealer on the link keeps saying non found.
My friend did her just before me no email went on link and it says her car had no valid rd tax at time of application....it did but ran out on 31st she renewed it 31st....applied on 21st so now has to start again despite not driving it not being on the rd etc and her insurance expires in 8 days so will have to pay to insure again although it's currently insured.
