Dry cleaning so expensive

I have started the job of clearing out a fitted wardrobe of clothes, toys and stuff I had even forgot I had.

I went through all of the clothes, tried them on and then got rid of some stuff and vinted things. I took 3 dresses which had small marks on them to the dry cleaners, to freshen them up as I knew that, that was them packed away and I wouldn't be wearing them anytime soon.

Anyway I picked them up today and two knee length dresses and one full length dress cost me £44! She originally thought it was £50 but then said no that wasn't right and it would be £44. I had thought it would be around £7 or £8 a dress so it was pretty much double what I thought. Is this normal or have I been done?

I had a couple of wool coats that I was also going to leave in but at that price won't bother. I will just brush them with a clothes brush instead.

I paid £16 for a coat recently so it sounds about right.

That sounds OK to me too.
