Clearing a house of an elderly relative. Apparently it’s an old railway poster and I’m trying to find out more about it and work out whether I should be putting it to one side. It’s framed and enormous.

Hmm, so this one doesn’t have the writing on, it’s literally just the image. Relative was a rail enthusiast so I perhaps need to do a bit of research before sending it to the charity shop. It’s old and very fragile. MIL thinks it’s from the 40s

Does it have a number on it anywhere.

It might be from a limited run print of the original painting or artwork which can be worth something especially to a collector

I’m a bit reluctant to try to take it out of the frame since it’s incredibly fragile. It hasn’t been behind glass or anything

I’ve just found an original poster with the writing on sold for £750..
