Anything I can take today to stop this in it's tracks?

Woke up with a slightly too tight chest, and a new cough 😐

I'm going out on Saturday which I've been looking forward to for weeks, and no worried I'll be coughing and spluttering, or generally to unwell to go.

Any tips of anything I can do/buy today to give me a boost/help it disappear?!

First defence nasal spray. Absolute game changer

Covid test?

midgemadgemodge · 31/08/2023 07:32

Rest as much as possible

SuperNoodleDoodle · 31/08/2023 07:53

@Tiespin will look into that, thanks!

@Lillianofthevalley done one, negative 👍🏻

@midgemadgemodge I certainly will, not easy with 3 little ones though 😕 I think it's my body just giving up at the end of the summer holidays.

I'd try a nasal spray, and use some throat lozenges. Great you've done a covid test, but it take a few days to test positive so worth doing another in a day or two. Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy Saturday.

I'm finding the First Defense spray very effective too.

Yy to first defence, echinacea drops as well

I've had the same and off on holiday on Monday (long haul) and need to get it sorted. Started yesterday (also negative for covid). I've been taking ibuprofen for the aches and shivers and sucking on Strsils for the burning chest and throat.

Feeling a bit wobbly to day but certainly better than yesterday.
