Ok mumsnetters! I need your collective car experience!
We want to buy cash, budget is 15k max (but cheaper if possible) low ish mileage (max 30k but I’d like closer to 10k) ideally not a super old registration (I’d prefer something around 3 years but up to 5 is ok)
I currently have a glorious 12 year old fiesta it’s lovely and reliable but, no air con, no cruise control, no DAB radio etc. I’m not too bothered about lots of fancy stuff but I drive sometimes for work and radio reception, me overheating and motorway driving is frustrating me! I need a little luxury! Oh and I’m 4ft 11 so nothing too huge as I’ll need a step ladder to get into it.
We’ve so far pondered another fiesta but the build quality doesn’t seem to match my old one. We’re now pondering a Kia Stonic, possibly a Nissan Micra. I’ve sat in SO many cars! And I’m feeling burnt out from the decision making.
BUT!
Does anyone have any recommendations? Any thoughts on the Kia or Nissan?
