I've got an unexpected bill today- as I've already ranted on here about how skint I am I'll leave you to guess how devastating that was but...
I messaged a friend as I felt really upset who said "It must be scary- I know you are the safety net...my mum would lend me the money."
My mum is amazing but as a family we have many generations of almost poverty. She wouldn't be able to lend me anything. This has suddenly made me feel a lot of pressure. I'm a single parent and we scrape by but if things went super wrong where would we go? I'd have no one to lend me money or put us up for more than a few days.
Anyone else the safety net?
