Anyone Else Get Anxious About Going Away?

We’re only going for a few days but I’m getting proper jittery! Made a list of what to take & must have looked at it at least 20 times. We go tomorrow & unfortunately I got landed with a late shift which I couldn’t swap. Luckily it’s only til 8. I feel shaky & am just developing a headache. I’ve really been looking forward to the trip plus it’s teenager free. Deep breaths I think!

Oh yes, me! We go away at the weekend and I'm in a right state now, dreading the long journey mainly; the flight, picking up the hire car, negotiating the roads etc. Then I'm wondering if I've got all the clothes, accessories and so on that I need. Shall I make a list?! I feel so disorganised.

I keep telling myself it'll be worth it once we reach our hotel, but I'm feeling very anxious right now.

Hope you have a good time, OP.

Lists are my saviour MaidofSteel! Great username! Hope you enjoy your holiday too. Where are you off to? We’re going to London to see a couple of West End shows.

The past several years, I have not been thrilled about traveling. I don't get to the point of jittery, but I am definitely annoyed and fed up, and I really have to check myself so my inner shit mood isn't being taken out on my husband. I don't feel like dealing with leaving our pets, I don't want to sleep anywhere else, and I can't stand packing anymore. I feel like I've done all the traveling I want to do, so can I please just stay home?

Aquamarine109 I can sympathise about pets - we have bunnies. Luckily we found a lovely lady who has already looked after them twice. She sends photos & videos.
