I'm not particularly fussy and like most white wines but I do enjoy a Marlborough sauvignon blanc however am getting a bit bored of this now. What else might I like? Nothing too sweet!

One of ours favourites is Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc too. We like Vinho Verde, Cotes de Gascogne and Sancerre.

I’m an ABC, anything but Chardonnay. I enjoy Chenin Blanc and Picpoul. I used to like Pinot Grigio but gone off it a bit recently.

I’m not a wine expert but I like a Pinot Grigio. It feels like SB but lighter.

Gavi, or white rioja.

Peony654 · 30/08/2023 08:24

look For some dry Rieslings like from South Australia. Or try English Bacchus!

Gavi, or white rioja.

Agree with this. Also Pecorino.

Agree with this. Also Pecorino.

Ooh I forgot Pecorino, it’s delicious.

TheYadaYada · 30/08/2023 08:30

I also like Picpoul, Chablis, Gavi or Verdejo.

dementedpixie · 30/08/2023 08:34

I like white Malbec along with pinot grigio

Floofydawg · 30/08/2023 08:35

Ooh yeah, forgot pecorino. I will basically drink anything Spanish or Italian.

Findyourneutralspace · 30/08/2023 08:35

Pinot Grigio or Chablis

greglet · 30/08/2023 08:41

littleripper · 30/08/2023 08:52

PuppyMcPupFace · 30/08/2023 08:53

Muscadet, Entre Deux Mers, White Graves

showmethegin · 30/08/2023 08:54

I love dry wines and adore a Viogner

CruCru · 30/08/2023 09:18

Gruner Veltliner

TheSandgroper · 30/08/2023 09:20

Sancerre, I think, is also sauvignon blanc, but French.

Look for reisling from Australia, semillon or even marsanne. Chablis is chardonnay, often in the dryer side.

NZ sav blanc is often very strong in the nose. Not a lot around that is quite the same that way so you will just have to have the fun trying all our suggestions.

louderthan · 30/08/2023 09:42

Picpoul de Pinet
White Rioja
Gavi

husbandcallsmepickle · 30/08/2023 09:52

If you have a Majestic Wine or an independent wine shop near you, they usually have a few bottles open that you can try

XxSpxx · 30/08/2023 09:53

Another vote for picpoul here

ViaRia01 · 30/08/2023 09:54

I came to say Sancerre but mostly but available by the glass at a restaurant. Gavi would be my next choice and often by the glass.

Mintearo7 · 30/08/2023 09:56

Try Tesco Finest Pinot Grigio - we had it last night and reminded me a lot of Sauvignon Blanc

gingersnappz · 30/08/2023 09:58

Do you particularly want another white? Marlborough Sauvignon is my favourite but I also like a dry rosé - can't afford whispering angel but Aldi do a really good dupe for about £8 and has the same kind of citrussy-ness as a Marlborough Sauvignon IMO.
