DC officer came knocking this afternoon....

I feel so anxious.
My 16 yr old has a case against her ex BF who sexually assaulted her when she was 14. She kept it quiet and I only found out in December when she disclosed to me.
Its been on going. She has a message that he admits to raping her. I cant deal with this.
Today the DC emailed DD and said she has an update, she didnt tell me and didnt answer her phonecall. DC turned up at our house at 4.45pm, we weren't in.
She is coming at 9.30am tomorrow. I feel like she is coming to support and say its not going any further. So stressed!

No advice but posting to give strength, support & a handhold. Just stand by your DD and fight all you need to. I wish I could help more but I honestly don't know what else you can do 🤍🙏

Very difficult for you both. Your DD has probably kept it from you to save you from worrying. And is trying to ignore it to make it all go away. Are you more worried that the case will proceed or that it will be dropped?

I hope you get through today ok, what an amazing daughter you have raised.

Thankfully this is over. The DC said no further action is being taken.
The EX bf has a case against her several months after her case for mallicous comms, lets hope this gets closed down too.
