Anyone recommend restaurant for (low key) big birthday in London?

Hello

I’m not sure if anyone here can recommend anywhere but I’m at a bit of a loss so would be really grateful!

I’m looking for a restaurant for my Aunt’s 60th birthday in London - either SW or easy access zone 1 central like Victoria (though that might be more expensive).

She doesn’t like a big fuss or anything too expensive, so not a big snazzy really cool restaurant - ideally something more friendly with good food and a private room. £30/40 per head would be good which might rule out central. 14 people, all adults, some older who can’t do lots of travel.

Anywhere anyone can suggest?!

Thank you

Is £30-40 including drinks?
Would you consider lunch rather than dinner?

Could exclude drinks. Yes could consider lunch , which is also more low key I suppose!

Try filtering on design my night? I've used it before to book things.

Or this looks nice, and has small spaces

Oh no! Could you maybe contact them anyway? If it's an unpopular time you may get lucky.

Any particular cuisine?

The Wolsey is gorgeous and near Green Park, not private rooms that I've seen but it has a mezzanine you might be able to reserve, although steps might be an issue? I've been often and it's very pretty.

The Thomas Cubitt pub is near victoria and is very nice. I believe they have a private room. I'm not sure about the budget though.

The Delaunay in Covent Garden? Private dining room to seat either 10 or 16, and fixed price dinner is £35 for 3 courses (more for a la carte, but not much more).

It’s an absolutely lovely space. Their brunches are also wonderful.

Oh that's a good shout, I assumed it would be out of the budget
