Doing my GCSEs at the age of 33

Just enrolled, start in a few weeks.

Anyone else done this? How did you find returning to study after so long?

Not nervous about the content of the courses, just about whether I actually remember how to study! I never took my GCSEs in school, had an unstable homelife and despite being in the top stream for everything I just didn't attend. Left school, met DH and started a cake business.

I want to go to uni to study sociology, but need GCSEs before I can even start the access course.

Just realised I'll be getting my GCSE results at the same time as my son 😂

@BruhWhy Good for you!

I've gone back to study at 30 and 40.

It's a very different experience and your motivation will be high.
Good luck and enjoy it

Brilliant, well done you! My husband left school at 15 with nothing. He now has two degrees and a professional qualification.

Congratulations on doing them now.
I would hate to do the new version now though because it's all exam and no coursework (like it was in my day).
Hope it all goes well for you 💐
