Hi, we're looking for a sideboard to go in our dining room, and I've never even been in one of their stores before so I don't know what their furniture is like quality-wise. Any advice please, and also on their customer service. tia

We have some of their cupboards and chairs. Reasonable quality for the price imo. Had a look in the shop, ordered online, delivery within a few weeks.

I love it!
I've got a tv unit, nest of tables, coffee table, , small table, bookcase and sideboard all in the Canterbury range. Had it about 5 years and it looks as good as new.
Great quality, very solid and heavy. Am contemplating buying some more for my dining room.

Bookcase and cabinet here. Salesman followed us around the store was bloody annoying! Even when we explicitly asked him to give us space he stood 5m away watching and ready to pounce 🙈

Customer service was excellent though, there was a couple of little imperfections with our units and they sent someone round to fix asap 👌

Thanks all. It is a fair trek to one of their showrooms from here, but I think I might do that first then. We want a sideboard, and you can't tell from photos such things as the depth of drawers or how roomy the cupboard is. It is easier to go and look and compare side by side.

Yes, we’ve got dining table & chairs and a dresser. All good.

I bought a dining table and chairs and a tv unit years ago. Fantastic quality and when I moved recently I downsized and had to sell the tv unit, it sold immediately because it’s solid wood. I would recommend them xx

Mixed review here - have several pieces all ordered together however took them three attempts to send me an undamaged sideboard as they're manufactured abroad and essentially not checked before being distributed to local hauliers for delivery. Repeatedly asked for the driver to call me before delivery but didn't happen despite being agreed on the phone with customer service (I work 15 mins away).

Quality is OK for the price if you get sale bargains but to be honest I'm not that impressed - blemishes and rough finishing etc. Probably wouldn't buy from them again. Also offered me 'a discretionary offer for the repeated inconvenience' (specifically NOT compensation apparently) but this has also never materialized, whatever it was.

We have an oak dining table and chairs, it’s very nice and the quality of workmanship is excellent, but boy is it heavy to move.

Well, that's solid wood for you - it is darned heavy!

We have a few things from there: bedside tables, tallboy and chest of drawers.

All solid wood and good quality but as everything is handmade you have to inspect the items thoroughly when you receive them. We had a wardrobe that had a few faults with it and they took it back after inspecting it and one of the bedside tables was replaced as it had a crack in the wood (you have to wax the furniture every 6 months to stop it from happening but the crack appeared soon after we got it, it must have been where it was stored in their warehouse).

The customer service is great and really helpful.

I bought a bed, chest of drawers and side tables from them about 15 years ago - they've moved several times, including 2 international moves and are still going strong.

Cannot fault them.
