Can anybody recommend a specialist insurance company who will offer cover for a trip taken 10 weeks following a hysterectomy? Consultant says I should be back at work within 4 weeks. (Op this week) our annual insurance company say they can’t continue cover for trips post hyst. Think we are going to have a battle to get them to cover holiday cost. (Just under 10k) They said they will refund the policy cost WTF! It seems our only option maybe to get specialised insurance cover, even pay hundreds for it, which is preferable to losing 10k.
Has anyone else been in a similar position?
