Yes
I'd walk through the ,idle of town with the Mormon tabernacle choir and a brass band behind me telling the world whilst being chased by bellringers screaming "unclean"

WheresTheRemoteControl · 28/08/2023 13:48

No because i wouldn't know. I wouldn't test.

homeitisthen · 28/08/2023 13:48

yes I had it the other week no big deal anymore
I just tell people them they are aware and up to them if they want to come near me same as a cold I tell them

RamblingRosieLee · 28/08/2023 13:49

It depends if I'm ill enough to need tp really eg off work

Theunamedcat · 28/08/2023 13:50

I would tell my family not that they visit me

Yoghurtpotsatdawn · 28/08/2023 13:51

Yes because I’m older aware my friends and I’d not want to knowingly pass it on. I’ve a few friends with long covid after their last infection and it has really impacted their quality of life.

Yoghurtpotsatdawn · 28/08/2023 13:52

That should be I’m older as are my friends

TheLongGloriesOfTheWinterMoon · 28/08/2023 13:54

Yes. In the same way I'd tell them I'd got a bad cold or a sickness bug as I wouldn't want to pass it on.

Exactly. Yes.

CoopAndWheels · 28/08/2023 13:57

Yes.
A friends DP was recently hospitalised with Covid and she was really poorly herself. That’s not something I would carelessly inflict on anyone else.

Motheranddaughter · 28/08/2023 13:59

I would not test

How would I know? I wouldn't test, so it's academic.

Lollygaggle · 28/08/2023 15:04

In the same way I wouldn't let a child out with active chicken pox , or myself out with measles or mumps because I am well aware of the damage it can do to both well and compromised ,I wouldn't be going out when I had covid .

I do test and I have just come back from a gathering of 130 of us who tested , which was just as well as people had caught covid and consequently isolated as quite a few people were vulnerable (post cancer , carers for vulnerable etc). As an organisation we bought tests to help stop it spreading any further.
