Has anyone experienced weeks, or months, of everything feeling like it's just going wrong?
(Lighthearted - I know some people have some genuine, much much worse things going on in their lives).
For me it all started in July when my phone was destroyed by the heat and the sea (in an apparently waterproof pouch). It was towards the start of a month long holiday and I couldn't access banking to pay bills or contact my teenage son who had chosen to remain at home.
On the flight home our seats were downgraded due to a plane with a different configuration being used. Refunds will take 'a while' according to BA. The poor lady in the row to the left of me also vomited, meaning a very unpleasant journey for both of us.
On return home I purchased a new phone on line and just afterwards I realised I had been victim of CC fraud. I cancelled the card and cut it up and am expecting a new card on Friday.
This was also following a change in my general bank account, so a new card is also coming from there. Now I have no bank cards until around Friday.
I went to collet my phone, but they couldn't release it without my card...which is gone. So no new phone for me yet either.
So I have no easy access to my own money (cards) and no phone.
I know that in the grand scheme of things, these are all little inconveniences that will soon be ironed out...but boy, do I feel like everything is just going wrong at the moment lol! Although I will say, not looking at my phone so much on vacation did make for a more relaxing experience in some ways.
