Quick Q - can you get the MAP for someone else?

Missed pill...obviously not ideal but it happens.
We live rurally and with the bank holiday the nearest open pharmacy is a bit of a trek

I'll go if I have to but I'd much rather stay home whereas DH needs to go out to buy a lawnmower anyway

Can I just ask him to get it (he knows all my medical history and I'd be willing to speak to pharmacist on the phone if needed) or do I need to go to the pharmacy myself?

I know you didn't used to be able to but that might have changed. It might be possible to order it online via a pharmacy though and then DH just needs to pick up the prescription. I've done this before with emergency antibiotics for a UTI on holiday before with Lloyd's chemist.

Can’t you buy one particular brand over the counter now, without needing to speak to the pharmacist, or I made that up? If so I don’t see why your husband can’t get it for you.
