View from Shard - please does anyone know any discount codes?

Visiting London with kids. Promised them we’d go to view from the Shard thinking we could use Rail 2for1 offer. Just found out it’s no longer valid! Trying to see if there’s any other codes I can use as otherwise it’s such an expensive trip - not sure I can justify it really . Thanks for any help or tips!

Google free views in London and they suggest some nice ones (greenwich, cable car etc). But I suspect you want one very similar to the Shard. The Sky Garden will give you this. You can google that too but this is an excerpt for entry:

‘If you visit between 10am an 6pm on weekdays and between 11 am and 9 pm on weekends you need to book a ticket in advance from their website. Otherwise, you can just walk in (it is likely that you need to queue) you have free access without booking from 7am to 10 am and from 6.15 pm onwards during the week, while on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 11am and from 9.15 pm to 00:45 (On Saturdays) and 10:30 pm (on Sundays). Please check the website for closure updates.’

I wouldn’t bother eating or drinking there, whilst it’s nice it’s very over-priced for what it is and you can get better cheaper. The views are brill though!

Really wouldn’t bother. It’s an awful lot of money for basically a 10 miniute visit.

The sky garden was free when I went. Worth a look. I had to book online.

Go over the bridge to sky garden instead.
