Can you swim in the pool if you are on your period without wearing a tampon? I've read on line that you can and that swimming stops the flow and you won't leak into the pool if you have a light flow?

You’ll get tons of replies saying that they/their daughters swim without a tampon because “the flow stops in water” but it’s nonsense, and disgusting.

I remember one poster saying her DD swam competitively, never wore tampons, and she used to tie a towel around her waist poolside to hide any visible menstrual blood.

People are so selfish, not to mention stupid.

Why would you not just wear a tampon?

Why do you want to know about everyone's period habits?
