Hi,
I am currently trying to write my pros Nd cons for this. We have a house in the country 10 mins drive from the town and 45 from city. Its nice and private with a big garden . However we are always driving our children to the town. As of next year 2 of them will be going to secondary there and 2 get the bus from there to the city for university. No buses in our village. Also very little independence for them.
If we buy in town we will lose our garden and still have to drive out here a few evenings a week for sports clubs here. I dont particularly like this area, we only moved here a few years ago but had been thinking we could put a garden house in the garden for our children to live in when older to help them save to buy a house .
Long post but anyone that has moved for less driving did you regret it.
