Where to go on holiday in May?

Hi all

I am thinking of going away with the kids at May half term next year. Does anyone have any recommendations of countries/resorts? Would want somewhere ideally mid to late 20's in temperature but as near to UK as poss, definitely can't afford anywhere too exotic!

If anyone can recommend a particular resort that would be great! Ideally a nearby beach would be wonderful.

Southern Spain is your best option. We had a villa near Marbella May half term this year and it was gorgeous. Can’t comment on hotels as we prefer self catering but there are lots of options near by.

South of France fits the bill at that time of year. If you live near enough to London, train (Eurostar and TGV) is an option.

We went to Malaga in Spain around end of May/first week of June a few years ago and the weather was lovely - mid 20s every day. There was a beach in walking distance, a marina with restaurants, and the old town was really nice to walk around.
