Nhs 111 help please

I've been online on 111 for tonsillitis. I filled out the details etc and it says they have referred me to a pharmacist.
Does that mean they will be able to prescribe antibiotics when I go down there in the morning?

I've never had this before with 111 just always had a gp appointment

Think they will try non-antiB treatment first.

What symptoms did you report and did you speak to a doctor or just the 111 call handler?

I just filled the online form out. But I've got a temp unbelievable sore throat and white patches. Am I best to just call?

Yes, I would call them and tell them that! If online referred you to pharmacy they just expect you to go and ask them what your sore throat is.

I've called 111 before with symptoms like yours and was prescribed antibiotics on the phone. Hope you feel better soon!
