dd1 in bed with very mild heatstroke, dd2’s kids disco 1hr late & I promised her last night we could stay for the entertainment tonight which turns out to be Some weird sword-fighting Antonio Banderas (masked) style Spanish entertainment- why didn’t I stay for the awful singer last night. Manana isn’t always a good thing…..

We were watching a micheal Jackson tribute one year in Majorca when DS looked at me horrified and said Mum - Micheal Jackson DIED!!

Apparently he had never come across a tribute act before.

Antonio is currently playing air guitar on his friend’s leg whilst balancing cocktail glasses and a ball on a knife in his mouth….

I've just used the voucher from a recent Mumsnet email to order myself some food, and it's delicioussssss. I ordered a 'dragon roll', tempura prawn hand roll, miso soup, extra pickles ginger and a coke.

DP and DS are on a night away, so I'm enjoying being sprawled out on the sofa eating sushi. Unfortunately I have no idea how to work the Xbox, so am watching regular tv and there's f all on!

Kids having sleepover with grandma. Finally got round to seeing Oppenheimer today, got home at 9.30, had pizza and wine. Now eating cheese and watching crap TV. Really should go to sleep as I'm working tomorrow, but I'm so bloody content now 😂😂

We've just got back from hols and was quite disappointed with the entertainment. The kids stuff seemed quite young and at 9 it was usually just a soloist. No atmosphere or dancing.

DS is with GPs tonight so DH and I went for a nice dinner and now playing beat the intro with Spotify playlists (guessing the song name and artist)

@evtheria ahh my dad acted it out for us as kids. He jumped up on the doorframe like MJ did with the trees. Very comical.

Hopefully Antonio is special Saturday night treat and you're only staying a week
