If you make 100k+, what do you do?

I'm just curious. I have two degrees, one being a masters, studied hard, worked hard and still don't make that much money (having DC set me back but was unlikely to have made more than 60k ever). If you make 100k+, what job do you have? How did you make your wealth?

Anyways after working for companies for 25 years, I went self employed. Left 6 figure package and replaced it with a bigger 6 figure package.

I look back and think I was lucky I got so many great jobs and made very fast career progression. Apparently, if I wasn't female, I'd think it happened cos I made it happen.

I honestly think the sector you choose is the key to big earnings.My friend whose a partner in a group of GP surgeries earns more than me. My brother in IT/robotics earnt a bomb.
