Recommend a lip oil

I've decided to try a lip oil to wear for work. I don't like a sticky gloss but would like something a little more than a balm so this seems like a good compromise. But I have no idea which one to go for! I'd like a bit of a tint of pinky red colour but nothing too tinted and ideally I'd like to spend no more than about £10-£12. Any recommendations of what to go for?

PS - I would have posted in S&B but didn't get many responses last time I did.

I don't use them personally but my daughter recently got a revolution one from superdrug and has been raving about it.

Is it the Revolution Pro brand? I bought some skincare by them recently and was pleased with the quality considering the price so that may be worth a look - thanks.

When it’s your birthday, ask for the Clarins lip perfector, it’s normally £21 but on offer atm for £16.80. It’s lovely and light.

I've just bought the Dior one in the sale online at John Lewis. Not sure what to expect but it got good reviews.

PTSDBarbiegirl · 26/08/2023 18:19

Revolution products are unbelievable, I'd recommend highly!

SushiSuave · 26/08/2023 18:30

I'd love the Dior one and according to all the reviews it's worth the money, I just don't have the budget for it ☹️

@SushiSuave nor would I normally but I'm spending my birthday vouchers. I've gone for it based on the reviews.

I have been wearing avon lip oil for the last couple of years , i can't fault it , there is a slightly pinky clear one and a shimmery one , both of which look and feel lovely and last very well.
I bought a revolution one but its nowhere near as good as the avon one.

I have the avon but find it a bit sticky. I also have either Dior or EL which I love. The price means I don't use it daily though hence avon which is always in my bag.

The Aldi Lacura lip oil is amazing! I can’t keep lipstick on to save my life, but this stays on for ages. Someone told me it’s a dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury lip oil. Shame it’s only available as a Special Buy and not available all the time.

SushiSuave · 26/08/2023 19:28

I do love an Aldi special buy! I'll keep my eyes open for that when I'm next in. I'm so indecisive! I've been reading reviews and watching videos all afternoon. I just don't want anything slightly sticky, but that does tend to mean it won't let as long. Tricky!

Nooni lip oils are fantastic. Not sticky at all and last ages. Good value too
