Ds keeps asking me to buy these again. Not Tesco. Pack of four cakes, with black and white iced top and possibly dark sprinkles. That's all I've got. Like fairy cakes/muffins.

How long ago was it? I’m thinking with black icing it was possibly halloween themed cakes tbh.

About three months? It was just in the general cakes section of somewhere

I've got this memory of multipack fairy cakes, cheap supermarket ones, in a thick foil cupcake case and the icing was very flat and a thick layer about 1cm like it had been poured in to the case on top of the cake, chocolate flavoured icing with white drizzled decoration.

oooh cyber's last post about the foil cake cases made me immediately think about Couplands bakery! they do sell cupcakes in packs of four unlike most supermarkets. Do you shop in there?

They were like this - fairy cake, pack of four, kind of sugar icing so smooth and black/brown swirled with white and then sprinkles.

Found them! Not on the website but was in a Marks and there they were. Mystery solved. Adding this in case I ever forget again 😂
