What are the best pick and mix sweets?

There's so many contenders but these are high on my list.

Strawberry milkshake bottles.

What's your favourite?

Also do you still get chewing nuts? I used to love those.

Foam shrimps and bananas. Cola bottles and sour cherries. I avoid chewing nuts as don't want to lose my fillings. 😁

I also used to adore those really strong spearmint chews. I must look and see if they're still produced.

Cola bottles are far and away the best - and I don’t mean the ones with sugary coating (which are vile).

I loved floral gums when I was young but I don’t know if they’re still available.

Pineapple cubes, although they ripped my mouth to shreds.

Coconut mushrooms!

I love strawberry pencils - I peel the outside off and eat the middle last.
I also love a white chocolate jazzie- I didn’t buy one of those M and S Jazzie Easter eggs a few years ago and still regret it 😂

Also used to love white chocolate skulls a bit like white mice but they had strawberry juice in the middle.

I've never liked the foam bananas and shrimps. I love the fried eggs.

Sherbet lemons,
those white chocolate circular things with the coloured things on top of them,
fizzy cola bottles, blue/pink bottles and any fizzy sweets
pear/apple drops

Speaking of coconut mushrooms, does anyone remember another coconut based sweet which were called toasted teacakes? I loved those.

That's so weird! I was only thinking about chewing nuts today. I've not seen them for years. The nearest thing I guess is Toffets. I like putting them in the fridge so the chocolate goes really hard.

I also love sherbet strawberries and white mice.

Barratts Milk Teeth. No other brand comes near. Barratt do them prepacked now to buy in supermarket. Also the pink and white mushrooms, green and red cherry flavour jellies, pink shrimps ..

I used to love them all - my mum would let us make up our own bag in the airport for long flights so small paper bags of pick & mix always makes me feel cosy inside!

The plain old fashioned milk bottles with the sort of powdery coating. Cola bottles. Strawberry laces. Cola cubes.

Me too. Don't like the texture. I like the haribo hearts and wine gums.
