How Long to clean a 4 bed house?

Like all good procrastinators I have woken early to start on some much needed housework and currently I am having tea and toast and finishing an episode series on netflix.

How long does it take a normal person to clean a house, I keep thinking how nice it will be when it's done, just as a boil the kettle.

People are supposed to do hoovering (DS) and dusting ( Dd) major bone of contention. So 6 hours ?

3 hours to do a deep clean? What? I can't even barely do a quick clean of our small 3 bedroom house in 3 hours, let alone a deep clean. A deep clean would take me days.

Turns out I'm much more @Oblomov23 than anyone else. Have only managed kitchen, and not even mopped yet. But it does look lovely, rest of the house not so much.

If the house is tidy, it will take 2-3 hours for a superficial clean. If you are doing a deep clean maybe 6-8.

If it's not tidy then you need to tidy it first....for me that's what takes the longest!
