Bank Holiday Weekend Plans?

Anyone up to much? DD14 & her girlfriend are currently making macaroni cheese with crispy bacon, although it looks like they’re getting rather distracted & doing some sort of dance routine instead. DD does make really good mac & cheese! Her girlfriend’s staying over then they’re off to a Pride festival tomorrow. DH finished work at lunchtime today so it’s been good to have him around. We’re both working tomorrow. I finish at 2 so might go somewhere whilst DD is out. DH is making his famous chocolate chilli for Sat tea. Sunday if it’s fine DH & I might go to a sunflower trail near us. Loads of people have said how lovely it is & it closes for the season on Monday evening. Having southern fried thighs/drumsticks, chips & coleslaw for Sun tea. Monday I’m working but probably only til 1 so DH & I might go somewhere. Cathedral City lasagne & peas for tea.

Wander around a local car boot sale on Sunday and then it is my town's yearly agricultural show on Monday. Hoping the weather holds out.
Saturday will probably be a chill out day as the kids (4 & 6) have had a really busy week and I fell over roday so I'm feeling sorry for myself with a dodgy ankle and grazed knees! Will probably get DH to do home made pizzas to cheer me up!
I'm in the middle of a week off from work so have been trying to make the most of it.

Diddly squat tbh probably spend my weekend in bed

DH and I are on our way to Scarborough for three nights, got a hotel with seaview room + breakfast, as it's our silver anniversary on Monday. Plus I'm going to see a band I like on Saturday. We've left DC 2, 23, and DC 3, 14, and the dog at home with money for takeouts; they're quite happy. Just the two of us!

Not everywhere is a bh so not much . Our next BH is 30th Nov .

We're off to the theatre tomorrow to see Macbeth and then dinner out. Sunday, I'm planning on planting some hanging baskets with violas/winter pansies as the surfinias I put in in May have come to the end and are looking a bit sad. I might go and get the last of dd's uniform on Monday 😩

Last August we did Notting Hill Carnival. This year we're doing Cotswolds steam train and farm food shops 😂

DH is retiring early, and he's out with the 'apprentice team' he managed years ago tonight as an early celebration. I'm assume he'll be suffering tomorrow as they're 20-30 years younger than him. Doesn't bother me, I've got a couple of household jobs I can do, will do online exercise class (normally do that on a Saturday) and go for a walk, oh and on last few chapters of a book so that needs to be finished. I'm working Sunday. We like walking, so I think we'll end up doing that on Monday, and I have plans to suggest a drink at a pub enroute😂. DD away until tomorrow night and working Sunday and Monday.

None of these will be all day events just a couple of hours each as also need to sort uniforms for back to school etc!

Off to a National Trust property today then home to sort out loads of life admin, make a nice dinner and binge Netflix.

Cleaning the house tomorrow first thing, then going out for brunch, then home to binge Netflix and have left over dinner from today so don’t need to cook tomorrow!

Going on a spa break with my sister for 3 days on Monday 😊

Tonight taking the boat to puerto banus for dinner. Wouldn't be my first choice but the kids love it.
Tomorrow beach day then into marbella old town for dinner although I was there last night and it was so so hot 31 at midnight!
Monday pool day and then probably dinner at the seafood place on the front that does amazing lobster and clams.

Tuesday back to sunny Manchester!
