Got a fairground setting up locally for bank hol weekend

Will I need hundreds of pounds in cash?

Insanely bloody expensive! £3 a go or maybe £2 if you buy £40 worth.

(I'm slightly sore about this, having spent a tenner for us all to go on a ghost train which was literally 3 minutes of loud noise and getting water skooshed on us at the end!)

The fair near me at the moment is £1.20 per token (or £10 for 10 tokens) doesn't say how many tokens a ride is though 🤔

We haven't ventured over to find out.

Hmm

It's just a general set up by (I assume) travellers. They pitch up randomly throughout the year but have never really noticed costs as we haven't even seen them since 'before covid'

It's travelling show people that run fairgrounds, not travellers/gypsies. They probably arrive at the same time every year after booking the site through the council/owner of the land. They will have had to provide insurance, risk assessments, annual safety certificates. They no doubt will have had to pay a bond for the site in the event of any damage.
I doubt it they have randomly turned up.
