We're going on holiday tomorrow (uk), I've been asking teen (14) boy to sort out his clothes since last Saturday including putting everything in the wash so it will be ready tl pack today. He's now only got one pair of shorts and one pair of joggers to pack. I'm not sure what's happened as I thought we had got through the washing.

Background, I work full time, I have a depressed husband and a disabled other teen who needs more support.
No one seems bothered about this holiday at all, it's my one break away and even getting anyone to talk about it, let alone pack, has been like drawing teeth. And now not only can I not pack as well as work no one seems to care.

So the other family members aren’t interested in this holiday? Why? Did they have a role in choosing/ booking it? Are they getting on ok? What’s the reason?

Teenage boys, because they are teenagers, it's been booked around them and their needs and wants, they are doing things they want to do with the location for my disabled son.

How did it work out OP? Sounds like my son. Natural consequences is all that works for us, just do nothing let him have 1 outfit on holiday and he'll have to either waste time and money buying a few bits or pack his dirty stuff and make him spend his first day at a launderette that he pays for.

Well we made it on holiday, the boys have clothes in their bedrooms, my husband packed so I have no ideas what's packed but I've decided to channel my inner else and let it go. There is a washing machine here but I'm not planning on using it.
