Waiting in vain in the queue for a doctor's appointment. I dialed 62 times before even being put into the queue and now I'm 54th in the queue...

Honestly I know they are massively over stretched but fucking hell there must be a better way to organise appointments.

I'd love to swap but none of the other surgeries nearby are taking on new patients so I have no option but to wait anyone else in the queue of despair.

My GP has a triage system where you fill in an online form. So much better.

have the system where you book online it’s rare to be able to

was advised to go down there at 8am I have done joined them queue no appointments left next day went earlier they gave out 5 appointments (this is a large surgery with 8 GP’s)

they are still using covid as a reason why they are not running a full service it’s so badly managed

my friend has given me some of her medication (on same meds) hopefully I shall be able to give to her back very soon

One thing I don't miss about the UK. What a ridiculous system.

The NHS is free, but you can't get an appointment.

I live in a country where private health is mandatory, and that means several private hospitals and clinics. I made an appointment this afternoon and am seeing a doctor this evening at 9pm at a time that is convenient to me after DC have gone to bed. The GP clinic here is open until midnight!
